Frequently Asked Questions

Each family has one primary phone number where package notifications are sent. Additional users (up to 5) can be added via Omniva’s additional service , which means that all packages from Omniva parcel lockers are transferred to the Picapaci community. 

Example: The primary user* in the household is Jüri. However, his wife, Mari, wants to order the package through the Picapaci community. In this case, Mari’s phone number must be registered as an additional user** in Picapaci (more details on this can be found underOmniva’s additional services). The package will be delivered to Picapaci based on Mari’s phone number, but the package notification will be sent to the primary user, Jüri.

* Primary user – one person per household who placed the Picapaci community order and whose phone number is linked to the Picapaci kiosk. 

** Additional users will not receive a notification from Picapac regarding the arrival of a package. Additional users will only receive a notification from Picapac regarding the return of a package if the package has a "delivered" status and the return is permitted.

  1. After receiving the SMS notification that your package has arrived,enter the 6-digit PIN code provided in the message using the keypad.  
  2. The parcel locker opens the compartment containing your package.  
  3. Remove the package from the compartment and close the compartment.  
  4. After entering the code and closing the hatch, the parcel locker marks the slot as empty. 

When placing a package in a parcel locker, the courier identifies the correct recipient based on the customer’s address. Therefore, it is important that you enter your correct address when placing an order.
If the package does not fit in the parcel locker, the courier will contact you to arrange a new delivery method.

Please note: The community mailbox does not have an L-sized compartment, so packages of that size cannot be placed in it.

We’ll hold your package for 72 hours. If you’re unable to pick it up within that time, please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll extend the holding period, or the package will be returned to the sender.

Accepts courier shipments from most service providers (initially Omniva and DHL, but more companies will be added). In the case of Omniva, it also accepts shipments destined for parcel lockers.

Sends notifications

The user who ordered the package will receive a notification of its arrival via text message. Other users of the parcel locker will not receive this notification and cannot access a package that is not theirs, as the unique code is sent only to the person who ordered the package.

Safe storage

The lockers are locked 24/7. When a package arrives, the recipient receives a unique PIN code via text message, which can be used to open the locker.

Weatherproof and durable

The parcel locker's housing is waterproof and keeps the items inside the compartments safe. The operating temperature range is from -25°C to +60°C.
