INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE VENDING MACHINE

Using the Picapac parcel locker is incredibly easy. Key things to keep in mind:

  • The parcel locker runs on a battery, and when the battery starts to run low, one of our technicians will come and replace it. You don't have to worry about it at all!
  • The parcel locker should be in the open position, which means that empty compartments must be left unlocked so that couriers can place packages inside. Couriers cannot open the compartments themselves without knowing the PIN code. After inserting the package, the couriers lock the specific compartment, and the package remains safely waiting for you!
  • When your package arrives, your personal Picapaci will send you a notification!
  • You can retrieve your packages from the kiosk using a 4-digit PIN.
  • When your parcel locker was installed, we provided you with a 4-digit PIN code, which you can change at any time to prevent unauthorized access to your parcel locker. Instructions for changing your PIN were sent to you by our customer service team prior to the Picapac installation.  You can also find the instructions in the self-service portal after logging in to Picapac.ee.

In partnership with Omniva, in addition to courier shipments,shipments via the Omniva parcel locker servicewillalsobe availableat the Picapac home parcel locker.

Here are the steps you need to take:

1. Make sureyour phone number is linked to the Omniva system. When you add a phone numberin the Picapac self-service portal, Picapac forwards the number to Omniva, which adds it to its system. A single Picapac account can have up to 5 additional users.

2. When making a purchase in the online store, select “1st preference/Picapac parcel locker” from the list of Omniva parcel lockers. If this option is not available in the online store, select the parcel locker nearest to you; once the package arrives at Omniva, it will be automatically routed to your home parcel locker.

Note:If the Omniva add-on service is activated, all Omniva shipments will be routed through Picapac, even those for which you selected a parcel locker in another city as the pickup location.

Use a courier service for home delivery; it doesn't matter which one you choose—all couriers can drop off packages at a parcel locker. 

In partnership with Omniva, you can pick up all packages sent via the parcel locker service from your personal Picapac.

For the Omniva parcel service to work, you need to:

1. Make sureyour phone number is linked to the Omniva system. You can manage additional users in the Picapaci self-service portal. 

2. When making a purchase in the online store, select “1st preference/Picapac parcel locker” from the list of Omniva parcel lockers. If this option is not available in the online store, select the parcel locker nearest to you; once the package arrives at Omniva, it will be automatically routed to your home parcel locker.

Note:If the Omniva add-on service is activated, all Omniva shipments will be routed through Picapac, even those for which you selected a parcel locker in another city as the pickup location. 

In partnership with Omniva, starting at the end of 2023, we’ll offerthe optionto send packages at the Omniva parcel locker service rate! 

You can use the My Omniva portal to send a package.

Instructions for sending a package:

1.Log into the My Omniva portal. If you don’t have a My Omniva account, please register. When you enter your phone number, the system will automatically detect that you have a Picapac kiosk.

2. On the home page, select “Send a package” and choose your Picapaci address as the delivery location. Complete the process. 

3. Once the return has been processed, the courier will pick up the package within two business days.

You do not need to give the courier your personal PIN code when sending a package. You have the option to generate a new PIN code for the shipment. To do this, you must have the additional shipping service enabled at the parcel kiosk (included in the price of the Standard and Premium packages).
How to generate a PIN:
 
1. Press the star key on the PIN pad, and the parcel locker will beep twice.
2. Enter the same 4-digit code that you provided to the courier company.
3. The parcel locker will now beep three times.
4. Select the appropriate compartment for the package, place the package in the compartment, and lock the compartment.
5. You will also receive a confirmation message indicating that the process was successful (example message: “Sending parcel from box: L. PIN code: 1111”).
 
The courier can then use that same code to open the locker and deliver the package to its destination. You’ll receive one final text message once the courier has entered the 4-digit PIN code (example message: “Courier has taken parcel from box: L”).
 
The PIN code assigned to a cell remains in effect until a new PIN code is set for that cell, the master code is changed, or the system is reset. All cell codes, as well as the master code, can be changed:
 
From the PIN pad
 
1. By pressing “#”
2. Enter a valid general code
3. Enter a new or the same old general code.
4. Now the code has been cleared from all fields, and the last code you entered is the default.
 

Starting December 12, 2023, you can return Omniva packages at Picapac. Returns must be arranged in advance via theMy Omnivaportal. At Picapac, use the return shipping feature to process your return.

Instructions for returning the package:

1.Log into the My Omniva portal. If you don’t have a My Omniva account, please register. When you enter your phone number, the system will automatically detect that you have a Picapac kiosk.

2.On the homepage, select “Return a package from my Picapac” and complete the process. 

3. Once the return has been processed, the courier will pick up the package within two business days

You can open the lockers using your personal 4-digit PIN or by sending a text message with the word “open” to the Picapaci number (where you receive package arrival notifications). 

 When you send an “Open” notification, please note: 

  • Notifications can only be sent from the owner's phone to ensure the security of the parcel locker. 
  • To open the compartments, the top cover of the parcel locker must be open.
  • If the top cover of the parcel locker is closed when the message is sent, the locks will open the next time the parcel locker cover is opened.   
  • The notification is valid for 2 days, so during that time, the top flap must be opened so that the compartments open.

Installing a parcel locker is a breeze!

  • The base of the parcel locker measures 640 x 450 mm, and the overall dimensions of the parcel locker are 800 mm x 600 mm x 850 mm. 
  • The parcel locker can be installed on any type of ground, since it stands on its own base and isn’t anchored to the ground. However, the flatter the ground, the better!

COMMUNITY PACKAGE LOCKER INSTRUCTIONS

This is an 8-compartment parcel locker designed for use in smaller villages, communities, and, for example, apartment associations. The parcel locker features XS, S, and M compartments.

Any service provider that has partnered with us to use Picapaci can drop off packages at the parcel locker.

To drop off packages, both the customer and the courier must scan the QR code located on the parcel locker. Scanning the code opens the Picapaci website on the phone, where you can complete the steps to send the package.  

  • The courier identifies the correct customer based on their personal address.

When a package is added to Picapaci by a courier , the primary user of the household will receive a notification about the package (Note: additional users will not receive a notification from Picapaci)

Use a courier service for home delivery, because all couriers registered with Picapac can drop off packages at Picapac locations.

In partnership with Omniva, you can pick up all packages sent via the parcel locker service from your personal Picapac.

P.S. With the Picapaci community, only the primary user of the household receives a notification when a package arrives. Packages for additional users are delivered via Picapaci, but they do not receive a notification.

In partnership with Omniva, you can send packages from the Picapac community using Omniva’s parcel locker service at a great price! 

If you already have a pre-registered package code (e.g., a Yaga package code), you’ll find detailed instructions under the topic “How to hand over a package to the Picapaci community.”

Please note:You cannot use other service providers to send the package.

You can use the My Omniva portal to prepare your package.

Instructions for My Omniva:

1.Log into the My Omniva portal. If you don’t have a My Omniva account, please register. When you enter your phone number, the system will automatically detect that you have a Picapac kiosk.

2.On the home page, select your Picapaci address as the delivery location. Note: During the test period, this is a personal shipment from Picapaci, so the system will ask for a 4-digit PIN. Please enter any 4 digits.

3.Complete the steps

4.Drop off the package as soon as possible, as Omniva has been notified that the package is ready for pickup. The courier will pick up the package on the next business day!

You can use the My Omniva portal to send a package.

Instructions for sending a package:

1.Log into the My Omniva portal. If you don’t have a My Omniva account, please register. When you enter your phone number, the system will automatically detect that you have a Picapac kiosk.

2.

On the home page, select “Return a package from my Picapac.”Note: During the trial period, this is a process for returning a package from your personal Picapac, so the system will ask for a 4-digit PIN. Please enter any 4 digits.

3.Complete the steps

4.Drop off the package as soon as possible, as Omniva has been notified that the package is ready for pickup. The courier will pick up the package on the next business day!

  1. Go to the parcel locker and scan the QR code on the machine.
  2. On the page that opens, select “customer”
  3. Scan the address label attached to the package or enter it manually (The sender's phone number must belong to either the user or an additional user)
  4. You will see the PIN code on the screen that appears. Enter the PIN code using the keypad on the machine, starting with the Start buttonand ending with theOK button.
  5. Place the package in the open compartment and close the compartment.
  6. The package has been shipped!

Picapac will send you a notification when:

  • The package has arrived– Picapac sends the user a notification about the arrival of the package once the courier has placed it in the parcel locker. The message includes a unique access code that can be used to open the locker. 
  • Reminder to Pick Up a Package- Picapac sends the user a notification when the 72-hour holding period is about to expire, reminding the customer to pick up the package before it is returned. 
  • The package has expired – Picapac will send the user a notification when the package has expired and can no longer be retrieved using the door code. Please note: After receiving the message, you still have the opportunity to retrieve the package if you act quickly. To do so, please contact us at 6889988.
