What is a community package locker, or Picapac?
The Picapac community service was created for neighbors, apartment buildings, and commercial buildings to bring package delivery closer to home. These innovative package lockers are battery-powered and do not require electricity. The eight-compartment locker operates on an open network principle, which can be used by all participating courier companies, such as Omniva and DHL.Signing up for the parcel locker service costs €1 per month, and packages can be received and sent at the parcel locker’s service rates.
