Because of my job, I often have to receive packages, and since I live where I do, I usually order them from online stores, which makes me a frequent user of parcel lockers. Although these lockers aren’t far from home, I often found myself rushing at the last minute to pick up my packages, and sometimes I forgot to pick them up altogether. In addition, couriers often come to my door, but since my partner and I both travel a lot for work, the courier had to leave the package on the terrace on several occasions. Although we live in a safe and secluded area, I still often had to ask my father to go get the package to protect it from the rain. Although I haven't ordered groceries yet, I plan to give it a try soon. In addition to sending and receiving packages, we also use Picapac to store our house keys—for example, when we’re away from home and a neighbor or my dad needs to feed the cat. The key is safely locked behind a code, which is a much better solution than hiding it under a flowerpot like we used to.
At first, I was worried that using the device might be complicated, but now I can confirm that even my 8-year-old child can handle it perfectly well. The parcel locker is secure, weatherproof, and looks great, too. I’ve told all my friends about this solution because it’s truly extremely convenient and time-saving—I can pick up my package whenever I want, and I no longer have to worry about being home when the delivery person arrives. But it seems you can only truly appreciate something like this once you’ve tried it yourself.
